Through a series of conversations, we will get to know the government officials, business owners, community leaders, and artists who shape our society. It is not our intention to influence anyone. Instead, our goal is to inform. We’re going to do that by sitting down and having one-on-one conversations with people. Hopefully, when we’re finished, you’ll have a better understanding of who these folks are, where they come from, and what they envision for the future of our community.

Welcome to Episode 10 of Project 39, in which we are joined by Mayor Bob Courtney. Bob is a native of Madison and is currently in his first term as mayor following a long career in the banking industry. We had a great conversation that re-capped the events and achievements of 2021, followed by a discussion of the issues the city faces going into 2022 and the Mayor's plans to address them. Due to its length, the conversation will be split into two parts. I will release the second half on Monday, January 31.
